Nico Toomuch launched her stand-up comedy career in Chengdu and has been a regular performer across China since 2016. She currently resides and performs in Beijing.

Nico's comedic approach delves into life's darker aspects, extracting humour from the grim. Her style, characterized by its cynicism and edge, sets her apart in the comedy scene.

In summer 2023, she began headlining her own show "Not So Innocent" in Beijing, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xiamen, and Shenzhen, garnering widespread acclaim and sold-out performances. Her rising popularity has also led to significant media attention, including interviews with domestic television station CDITV and international network NBC.

Since 2017, Nico Toomuch has been opening for or performing alongside various international stand-up comedians who have come to perform in China. Her collaborations have included renowned comics such as Joe Machi, Ahmed Ahmed, Dwayne Perkins, Sean Patton, Andy Curtain, and Joe Wang.

Through these performances, she has not only showcased her unique comedic talent but also contributed to the cultural exchange between China and the international comedy community.
